Can't get in to online dynasty it says gamer profile does not have correct permission. I have no idea what is wrong. Does anyone have any idea?

This happened to a friend and he had to go to his Xbox settings. There was something to do with parental controls being enabled even though he never set it up. He just disabled them and said it worked.
