Looking for some input-offense idea
I have a pass oriented CPB that doesn't have any FB's in the formations, and the only times a TE is in the formation they are only a blocker, or will be hot routed to a blocking assignment prior to the snap. Unfortunately we have to have these positions in the depth chart, so I was thinking I would recruit the fastest LB or FS/S I could and switch him to my FB and use him as my special teams ace. Then just switch one of my backup OL to TE. Has anybody tried this or something similar? Does anybody see a flaw or downside to this thought?
