What Is The Best Blitz Package? (Not Nano Blitz)

What is the best and most effective non-nano blitzing package to rush the QB who is in a shotgun formation?

if you got the personnel sure (press rating) ..also if the wrs have low release ratings its automatic picks or sacks easily

Re: What Is The Best Blitz Package? (Not Nano Blitz)

Most of the time I'll press when I blitz, just because it's a timing thing. Whether pressing actually works or if it's just a placebo thing, I don't know. But I feel that when I press, my opponent usually gets flustered and forces a throw somewhere.

However, you can get burned by pressing, so it's very high risk/high reward. I'd look at the press and release ratings of both the corner and receiver, respectively.

For blitz packages, I mostly do cover 3 zone blitzes. I don't like man blitzes because it creates too many mismatches for the offense. At least with zone blitzes, I can control the player where I think the biggest hole in the zone might be.
