Re: How do you stop out routes?

Zones should usually work. Try a max cover zone, that should work good.

Re: How do you stop out routes?

You may want to try the Dime Double Slots if it's coming from slot recievers. If not, there's a nickle double outs. Both of them bring both safeties up to go straight to the reciever(s) you choose to double, rather than waiting in the deep halfs.

The 3-4 Max Cover 2 might work as well, like mentioned above, especially if you do what I do and throw DBs at the outside linebacker spots.

Yep, and if they don't see the guy covering the flats, they could throw it right to you and get a pick.

-Problem with that is that then they can just go deep with a WR, or they can change the out route between the slot and wideout. I really think there just isn't a way to stop it due to the lack of realism with cover 2, where the corner is suppose to be in the flat. EA needs to fix this...

Re: How do you stop out routes?

U could always control one of the corners from the start... at least take away one of his options.
