Is NCAA 13 worth the money, in my shoes?

I've never had a NCAA game, and I can get it after school.

I played the demo and the game was great, but everyone always rants that 12 is better.

I have the money for the game, but I'm wondering if I should buy it?

I'm an NFL fan, but I'm not really into college, although I would like to be.

You were just like me at one point. I was Huge on Madden back on PS2 but then converted to NCAA.

To answer your question, unless you can get this game for 20 bucks, Id say rent it. I use gamefly and just rent the game whenever. Or if you dont have Gamefly, Blockbuster will do.

The Reason why I say this is because the game is incomplete in some aspects and it isnt worth 60 bucks to buy.

ncaa football 12 in no way better than ncaa football 13. Everything from gameplay to offline dynasties 13 is better. And yes i have both.

Dude 12 is waaay better. Seriously. save yourself some cash and get 12. Unless you can get 13 for around 20$.

Going to chime in with my 2 cents. NCAA 11 was by far the best game on the PS3 system. NCAA 12 just plain sucked. '13 I want to like but it has too many bugs listed in many threads. You can still find copies of NCAA 11 and if you can pickup '13 for 20-25 bucks go for it. Why EA can't combine aspects of 11 & 13 into one game is incomprehensibly stupid, but that's EA. It's another wait till next year with this series.

This is the first NCAA game current gen that I know for a fact I will never trade. This game and NCAA 11 are the best in the series by far. 12 was ok but the tendency issue hurt it badly among other bugs. Even when EA supposedly fixed the tendency issue Speed tendency players never played the way they were supposed to.

I rented NCAA 13 played it for 1 week and returned it unsatisfied.

Started playing NCAA 11 about 2-3 months ago and have to say for the cheap price I paid it's worth every dime.

I'm not a big NCAA fan as I prefer Madden overall but NCAA 11 is really good game especially if you get for a cheap price now days.
