Possible DB glitch work around?

I think there might be a way around the DB glitch. If I'm correct, the DB glitch only occurs on certain defensive plays (along with zone coverage set to aggresive). I believe it only occurs on zone Cover 2. I think if I create a new defensive playbook for each type (3-4, 4-3, etc) and delete all the zone cover 2s from the playbooks and then assign the newly created playbooks to all the coaches, then the CPU can never run the glitch DB play.

Thoughts?

Worth a shot. The zone aggressive did happen in previous versions as well - but the animation did not occur as much (or severe) as it does in 13.

You would have to take out any coverage that has a safety zone in it, and then I still have my doubts. Its pretty sad that bowl season is about over and people are still trying to make this game playable. I'm done with the series. Its so peaceful knowing I don't have to deal with this aggrevation anymore. Best of luck to you though.

If you can use the external editor (360 only), try this simple adjustment:

1. Decrease Speed for all WR by 8 points.

2. Increase Speed for all CB, FS, SS by 7 points.

These two adjustments slow down the WRs and speed up the cover guys enough to allow the cover guys to catch up on blown coverages, regardless of whether or not Zone Coverage is set to Aggressive. I have played a number of Coach Mode games with these two adjustments and have seen a nice mixture of completed, intercepted, and knocked-down passes on deep routes. So far as I am concerned, the DB Glitch is no longer an issue for me.

Glad you're at peace bro. i know you gave it a shot. But, after finding a way to have a 120 team controlled Dynasty I'm just getting started lol.

Oh...and you'll be back by the release of 2014 lol!!!

Before all the patches dropped back in August I did this very thing. I also created playbooks without 4 Verts. It obviously helped because the play wasn't in the game. The only issue you run into is you only have a certain amount of custom playbooks you can create so if you wanted to do it for offense, you would basically have teams playing the same way.
