3-5-7 Dropbacks

Sorry, this is probably a dumb question. I know that NCAA '13 promotes the 3, 5 and 7 step dropbacks, and the timing of the play depends on that. But is there a way I can find out how many steps a play is designed for before actually running it? Back in NFL 2K series, I seem to recall that number actually being part of the play name.

Thanks in advance.

Re: 3-5-7 Dropbacks

There is nothing I know of. My guess would be it depends on the route length. If that makes sense.

Re: 3-5-7 Dropbacks

I haven't put NCAA in for a while, been playing a lot of Call of Duty..

But in past games, if you'd view the play art on the field, the arrow under the quarterback tells you how far you need to drop back. There was a small, medium and longer arrow, each depicting 3, 5 and 7.
