I don't think there was. I've had the game since a day or 2 after launch and I've heard nothing about a recall.

You're thinking of Madden. There was a bug where you couldn't import a draft class from NCAA on Madden on the xbox version. They didn't recall it, but they gave you the option of sending in your proof of purchase to get a new disc with the bug fixed.
