The lack of a playbook leads me to believe it might be done. Perhaps replaced with the Ultimate Team or Season Mode. Shame, could have really developed into a great game mode.

EDIT: Could possibly be connected (via CCM in Madden) with dynasty

Maybe in the same way superstar is gone from madden 13. Not sure where ya news is coming from though.

I agree. The only sports game that has done a good job of a career/player mode is MLB The Show. I always felt it was a wasted resource that could have been applied somewhere else.

I doubt it's gone. I like most people on this site cannot stand RTG and do not play it, but if you check out Facebook whenever they ask what game mode people are most excited about, RTG always wins in a landslide as the everyday consumer loves it.
