Army/Navy
My friend and I were talking about how we had both been interested in starting up a Navy franchise, but that it would be a lot more fun if, while we were building up Navy, that Army was getting better as well. Now, realizing that all real-life scenarios are out (the military academies simply can't recruit the way other schools do, mainly because the players won't be able to play in the NFL for 6 years after they graduate), does anyone have any suggestion as to how to help Army out along the way?
Obviously I could play Army's games as well, but I don't have that sort of time. Is there anything less blatant than editing the player's ratings (which guarantees nothing) or simming their game each week until they win?
Along the same lines, maybe MikeOSU or Abner could give some ideas for recruiting restrictions to make it a little more realistic. Not impossible like it really is for the academies, but a little more difficult on myself. Maybe only 1 or 2 from each state (since each recruit has to have a nomination from a senator, congressman, etc.)?
