didnt buy madden or ncaa this year cuz of this...really sucks not playing the new game

but standing by what i decided

The feature was pretty bad before. It never seemed like these two dev teams were in sync with that feature.

One of the problems is that NCAA Football needs a better simulation engine for this feature to even function autonomously. NCAA would also do better to adopt Madden's ratings so that the two games function properly. There are some other issues but the last big one would be some sort of converter. You cannot simply port over each rating, else you have rookies with 99 ratings, and you cannot just port everything over with a negative modifier or else you have predictable classes. Then there is the issue of gems, as the game would have to randomize some gems, as well as busts.

The only way I see such a feature working is that it would have to allow for user editing to make some logical sense of things.

How about a production plus rating equals rookie rating. I know some players produce in the NFL even if they were injured their last season. But there is no way to get this perfect.

So for example: 99 rated QB 5,000 yards passing equals 75 in Madden. 99 rated QB 750 yards passing equals 60 in Madden.

They could do a rating ceiling. So a 80 rated NCAA player's ceiling would be a 70 regardless of his production. Thoughts?

I will not be purchasing NCAA & Madden if there is no draft class again. It appears EA is going downhill year after year by adding what's not needed and subtracting what's suppose to be a given.

I play both only because the export mode makes it realistic.
