NCAA Football 14 Blog - Breaking Down the Gameplay

EA Sports have posted a new NCAA Football 14 blog, which breaks down gameplay and Infinity Engine 2.0.

Quote:
Another significant improvement to gameplay in NCAA Football 14 is the running game. This year, we enhanced the running game by enabling you to make hard cuts on the field. The running game is an integral piece of college football, and in order to deliver the most realistic experience, we’ve emphasized changing the running game to eliminate inauthentic turning and running. With NCAA Football 14 you can make more hard cuts, which give better feeling of better weight and realistic running.
Platform: Xbox 360 / PS3

Is that a double team block I see in the one pic. Cant tell who it is. Northwestern maybe? I'm not up to date with uniforms.

Yeah looks like a double team block, looks like a running play though. I'm still waiting to see if they added them to pass plays.

Re: Breaking Down NCAA 14 Game Play Blog

"As we continually evolve the Infinity Engine, we have more control to build physics-based features to create more realistic player interactions on the field"

The highlighted word is the key for me. I don't think ppl should focus too much on the physics as these last NCAA and Madden games are merely a testing ground for whats' coming on the new consoles. Let's hope the Infinity Engine stuff they are working on right now translates over in a positive way and let's hope the physics based "features" we get now turn into very good physics based "games" in the future . I'm also hoping the next stage of EA's hype program focuses on this new Real AI Ben mentioned. The CPU is too dumb and everything falls downhill after that.

Re: Breaking Down NCAA 14 Game Play Blog

Even though they like their tight knit group, TGT is answering questions regarding gameplay. Real talk, they are the most neutral GCers out there for NCAA - very level headed group who call a spade a spade.

Sorry if this is in the wrong place just didn't want to make another thread just for this.
