When the opponent has, say, third and 2, and they get 3. The little cinematic shows my defense celebrating the tackle and high fiving and whatnot. But they gave up the first.

how about tying throw power to a rough amount of yardage? just for conversation say 70 throw power is average so say that amounts to being able to throw the ball 40 yards down field. if you drop back 30 yards like a cheeser you can only theoretically complete a 10 yard pass.

My biggest problems deal with off the field issues that then show up on the field. Main concern is when I'm on the 45 and it's 4th and 1 and I'm trying a hard count and the only person I end up getting to jump offsides is my fat *** guard. I wish there was an option in practice where you could work on 'Basics' and it would allow your team to be better equipped for those when on the field. Like wise for on-side kicks.

Other issues have to deal with coaching carousel. I play a lot of on-line dynasty and if we open up the floor for potential coaching changes due to vacancies you need to wait for everyone to either accept or decline each offer before it moves on to the next vacancy. There should be 2-3 three coaches like that, then it's open season.

Kicker/ Punter lag is always a major pain. I don't know why we can play NBA 2K with no shot lag but kicking a ball becomes this obstacle when you're playing on-line.

Lastly but most important is a playoff system. Give users the option to have either a playoff or a BCS system. It's not difficult to create.

After 7 versions this gen they still can't make the cpu ai execute any form of the option offense.

It's become one of the most boring/stale parts of the game when i'm defense. i'm forced to either skip playing those types of teams on the schedule or I have to sim my defense.

Also, I don't even bother to throw deep anymore because in the last two versions (12 & 13) it's been a guranteed TD or big play 80% of the time for me.

Program the game were if you run backward so many yards, your QB/ RB automatically trips over their shoe laces and falls flat on their face.
