In my experience, QB's have always been too accurate in EA football games. Take a mediocre QB, lower the QB accuracy way down, send a receiver on a fly down the sideline, tap the button and watch the 40 yard rainbow hit the WR in stride.

But I believe that is by design. I think that EA believes people don't want to see short hops, or slight over throws or mundane results like that. And then to compensate for the offensive explosion, we see some of the bandaids we have over the years....WR drops, psychic db's etc. Bandaids on top of bandaids.

To summarize: I agree.

Lol. Point well taken, but I have to give EA some credit. The new passing trajectories and read and react did wonders for the passing game. The problem was the QBs were too accurate and the QB Accuracy slider has been broken since NCAA 12 (or maybe 11) after EA uploaded one of the patches. If we could have adjusted the accuracy the passing game would have been as realistic as it's ever been.

Add the DB Glitch into the mix and it made passing way too easy.

Edit: The QB accuracy slider works great in Practice Mode. This will be another big reason why I won't buy this new game. I can almost say for certain EA won't address these glitched and broken AI sliders.

I liked the one they did in NCAA back in 2000 or so on the pS2 where you threw to a spot on the field as an option if you pressed a certain button, it was difficult but I got pretty decent at it. And since it was an option you didn't have to do it each time.
The only thing Fevers system needed was a tweak in the speed of the cursor. It was just a tad too slow. Otherwise it worked great. Throwing anywhere you wanted was great.
Then the other option in Fever was you picked the WR then sould lead either direction or throw high/low etc..
Of course they still had the X for X WR system like in Madden.

It gave you many passing options, something I wish EA would do.

I think pass defense needs to be revamped and made better before passing is. This game is already to heavily favored towards offense.

There was suppose to be 25 different pass trajectories....oh remember how the icons were faded out until the WR was ready for the ball,

Isn't that how they (EA) get you to spend your money....

It's called EA marketing



Then after you purchase the game you realize a month later half the things you saw in a marketing video doesn't actually exist in the game itself.

Which I'm waiting for some one to put a lawsuit against EA for false advertising, because you say the "icon fade" was in the game, but it wasn't. That's the one of things that they have lied about in the past, they and THQ with it's WWE games shared the same tactic, say all these awesome things with only half of them in the actual game.
