Re: Who will be the top players at there position?

First and foremost, I do not just rate players with OVR ratings. Instead I rate them by rating every single rating and whatever the OVR rating ends up to be it is. I also take dynasty progression into effect while rating underclassmen as they will progress their ratings through a dynasty. Lastly, I do not decide what ratings do what to a players OVR rating, EA does that, and that is why I've always been a firm believer in not paying attention to a players OVR, in fact, if I had my way we would have the ability to "hide" that rating.

QB's went like this for those do love the idea of an OVR rating.

97 Aaron Murray
96 Taj Boyd
95 David Fales
95 Tyler Tettleton
94 Teddy Bridgewater
94 AJ McCarron
93 Johnny Manziel
92 Marcus Mariota
92 Derek Carr
91 Bryn Renner
91 Tyler Russell
90 Jordan Lynch

Colorado might suck, but our punter, Darragh O'Neill, is pretty legit! Maybe not top ten, but you know you have had an awful season when your punter was your best player week in and week out. Oh, he can kick with either foot!

Re: Who will be the top players at there position?

Manziel is the best college QB in the game. Y'all can keep saying Bridgewater and Murray are the better pro QBs but seriously no one cares. This is NCAA football not Madden. Manziel played better teams, had better numbers, and won the Heisman. Best QB in college hands down. Idc how he is off the field. On the field, he's the best COLLEGE QB.

Re: Who will be the top players at there position?

Johnny won both the O'Brien award and Heisman trophy, plus he was the only QB to beat Bama. Based on those facts and seeing how dynamic he is, I'm gonna have to say that Manziel should be the best QB in the game.

Not the best passing QB, but if going by overall, Johnny should be #1.

I think you guys are missing everyone's point. No one is downgrading Johnny Football at all, in fact, he might be the most dynamic player I have seen in the last 15 years. Remember, we don't decide how the game dictates a players OVR rating, we just plug the ratings that we see on Saturdays and the game decides what the OVR is, not us. I am in the inclination that you cannot just give someone higher THP and THA just to have a higher OVR rating because that would be an injustice to the game. Again, just my own opinion.
