Just the fact that we can edit quarter lengths, makes me want to play this mode again. Now I can finally play as a defensive player and get realistic stats

Is it cool if we switch directions in the thread and make this the official RTG '14 thread?

I am playing as a CB. I completed my senior season at high school. I played all of the games and lost in the semi-finals during the playoffs.

I was a 5 star recruit with 5 INT and a couple of kickoff TD's. I decided to accept a scholarship at Vanderbilt because of the challenge from SEC WR's.

If the rosters aren't out when I get the game, I'm going to play this mode first. I'm gonna mix it up and choose to only have the 7 game high-school schedule, and only play until I become a 2 or 3 star prospect then sim the rest of the high-school season. This will force me to play at a small school and have to really work hard to become great. Hopefully I can export my RTG to Madden this year to make this a really fun career.

I'm having difficulty staying engaged in this mode trying to play a defensive player. I have tried playing as a linebacker and a safety but it gets boring because the offense rarely will pass in your direction, or even your side of the field. Additionally I'll watch replays and see 5 offensive players run past defensive players just to try and block me, mean while the players that are passed up are making the play in the backfield.

Adjust the difficulty level to Varsity and tweak the sliders. Set the game speed on very slow too.
