I came home from a long day at work to find the package at my front door. However, when I open it up, it is rattling and making noise. Opened it up, the case holding the game was cracked in a few places and the disk was rolling around the case. Think I should send it back or if it works, don't even waste my time for that?

It probably works. Games come out of their holding place all the time and roll around. If the disc looks fine, who cares.

Send it back! They'll send out a new one ASAP. You will have to print out the shipping label they'll provide & you can reseal the package and drop it off at UPS.
