What I used to do (haven't played since NCAA 13) was make Big Ten 16 teams and add Louisville, Notre Dame, Maryland and Iowa State.

I got one right from when they expanded 12 to 14!

I read an article today that EMU is getting pressure from faculty and students to drop D1 football. I hope it isn't true but the MAC may end up with 11 teams. I figured this would make for an interesting dynasty or custom conference discussion.

Wow. It would be a shame since they spent all that money on the gray football field and all those new unis.

School president already came out and said they will not drop football. I hope he sticks to his guns.

Anyway, I'm kicking around new dynasty ideas. My most recent idea is running a dynasty based on if Texas and OU had went to the PAC.

- Move Texas, OU, Ok St, and TT to the Pac 16.
- Let's say the Big Ten beat SEC to the punch on Mizzou

ACC (North)
- VT, Pitt, ND, BC, Vir, Mary, Syr
ACC (South)
- GT, FSU, Mia, Clem, Duke, NC, WF

The story in the ACC is they get ND to flinch and join full time.

Big Ten (East)
- OSU, Pur, Penn St., Mich, MSU, Rutgers, Indiana
Big Ten (West)
- Minn, NW, Iowa, Neb, Wis, Mizzou, Ill

Nothing too crazy, but Maryland never joins the conference

SEC (East)
- Fla, Geo, NC State, S Car, Ken, Vandy, Tenn

SEC (West)
- Tex A&M, Miss St., Bama, Auburn, LSU, Ole Miss

Sec gets NC State to replace Mizzou.

Pac 12 (North)
- Utah, Oregon, Wash St., Wash, Stanford, Col, Cal, Or St
Pac 12 (South)
- Az, UCLA, USC, Texas, OU, ASU, TT, Ok St.

Big 12 (South)
- K State, Kansas, TCU, Hou, Bay, SMU

I usually run with Toledo. They are a bit of a wild card here. This would be to play some different foes outside of the MAC and a higher challenge.

Mid-Majors were realigned for a better geographic fit.

I plan to sim a few years to see how thing pan out while I decide if I am going to start an official dynasty using this conference format. I also need to decide if I want original rosters or 2015 rosters?

I made a true Geographic breakdown. Made all conferences 12 teams to guarantee Conference Championship. Made the Independents the three military schools, Hawaii(location), BYU and Notre Dame(Traditionally Independent). I did not account for existing conference builds or rivalries. I simply took a map and drew lines to get the conferences to all fit 12 teams and 6 indy's. No conference is guaranteed a bowl bid in my Dynasty. I did this cause the game will typically make New Years 6 games 1v2. 3v4. 5v6. 7v8. 9v10. 11v12 or at least pretty close to this. Anyone have thoughts on this?

I tried moving Vanderbilt to independents and UCF the the SEC. UCF turned into Vanderbilt essentially, and Vanderbilt got into the top 5 one year. The simulation engine is really weird in this game. I've noticed that year 4 or 5, the team stats get totally messed up. I average 301 passing ypg, and that's good for first in the nation overall. Not sure how that happens, something having to do with recruits and the simulator? The same kind of quirk that makes Vandy suddenly a juggernaut simply by taking them out of the SEC. The game every year would try to schedule a non-conference game against them as well in the preseason. So, not sure how their schedule was. It's not like SoS even matters to the simulation and the polls in game - 3 loss Alabama at 3rd above 2 loss Florida and a bunch of other 1 loss teams...1 loss Florida finishing 3rd behind Cincinnati. So yeah...making all kinds of changes to conferences will result in some weird kind of CFB alternate reality, if my experiences are anything to judge by.
