Custom Conference Ideas in NCAA 14

I notice a lot of people talking about their relegation leagues and/or 3 conferences per region, but this ONLY works IF the WAC is in the game and with no WAC in NCAA FBS anymore will there be a WAC anymore.

If not there will only be 11 conferences in this years game.

Correct me if I am wrong, but there shouldnt be 12 conferences this year.

WAC and Big East are gone...AAC takes Big East place.

Instead of starting a new thread I figured I would see what everyone's plans are for their franchise (without the WAC).

I know there are a lot of people who have set up regional/relegation leagues in the past and without the WAC there are only 10 conferences + Independents.

I was wondering what everyone was planning with no WAC conference.

For me a mix of tradition and teams staying in their region.

Big East (AAC or whatever): Cuse, Pitt, BC, UConn, Rutgers, Penn St., Temple, VT, WVU, UMass, Buffalo

ACC: MD, VA, UNC, NC State, Duke, Wake, South Carolina, Clemson, Miami, FL St

SEC: Auburn, Bama, FL, GA, GA Tech, TN, Vandy, KY, ARK, Ole Miss, Miss St, LSU

BIG 10: OSU, MI, Mich St, IN, Purdue, ND, IL, Northwestern, MN, WI, IA, IA St.

Big 12: NE, KS, KS State, MO, OK, OK St, CO, CO St, TX, TX A&M, TX Tech, Baylor, TCU, SMU, Houston, Rice

C-USA: Marshall, Louisville, Cincinnati, Memphis, East Carolina, USM, UCF, USF, Tulane, Tulsa

Pac-10: UCLA, USC, Cal, Stanford, WA, Wa St, OR, OR St, AZ, AZ St, HI

Still haven't figured out what to do about the MTW or Indys.

It's pretty sad when the WAC's dissolution and the BE/American split took 25 posts to be mentioned.

The lack of an 11th conference means a setup with ten 12-team conferences and six independents makes sense. It remains to be seen how the game will work if there are no games in week 14/15 - NCAA12 and NCAA13 had freezing issues if there were no games in a week. So we might have to manually move some independents' games around if we use that setup.

Yeah I am planning on doing 10-12 team conferences as well...just trying to figure out what I will do for regional alignment with CUSA and AAC.

I dont like more than 12 teams in a conference.

I'm wondering though what the people out there that do relegation dynasties are going to do now without being able to have 4 regions of 2 conferences.
