An educated guess here, I havent checked. But Im assuming you want a 4-2-5 because of Auburn switching to that? Well, Ellis Johnson is our new DC, and he came from Southern Miss last season. Maybe the Golden Eagles then?

Yeah trying to get some playing time with the defense before ncaa 14 comes out. I'm looking forward to Ellis Johnson defense. I've always been a 4-3 guy so there is some learning todo. I made a SS in RTG I'm trying to pick a school also.

Funny story, I actually started a dynasty right around Thanksgiving (the real season was too depressing...) and I decided to try something new with defense (randomly chose 4-2-5) and went back to the Ark. St. spread playbook I enjoyed so much in NCAA 10-12. Two weeks later, Chizik and the whole staff were fired, and Auburn brought in Malzahn's offense and a 4-2-5 defense.

Ha ha too funny ....... Drum roll ............

Boise State, North Carolina, Rice, TCU and Texas state bobcats are the only teams that have 4-2-5 listed as thief default play books. I look at every school on the game and went through every team.

Re: What schools use the 4-2-5

the 4-2-5 that ellis johnson implemented at south carolina and current sc dc lorenzo ward ran after he left doesnt really resemble the 4-2-5 on the game. its essentially a nickel defense with the spur being the 5th db (nickleback). if the offense has wr's, the spur almost always will be over the slot receiver. if the offense goes I formation, the spur goes into the box and the defense resembles a 4-3.

but because of how ratings get affected by position and the depth chart on the game i usually would just run a 4-3 with the spur as the lolb.
