That's a weird comment by EA on their twitter page. It would be best to simply ignore that demo comment unless you are immediately about to drop it. So I would think there is a chance today.

But can a demo just sneak release onto XBOX live? Aren't these things known ahead of time for a few days at least? I forget how it went down last year... but I know it did release with E3 for 360.

This is how I remember it:

Last year EA surprised everyone by announcing the release of the demo during E3 without prior warning.

I could be wrong, but I am almost positive people didn't know it was going live last year when it did.
