. This play if done correctly will make me so happy. It is my favorite spread option play in real life.

if you ask me, the Power Fk Jet in the Wildcat Spread Flex is pretty much this same play. the only difference is the RB motions from the slot. same pulling guard, and you can hand it off or keep it and run playside. works OK at best.

The inverted veer is quite a bit different than the power fk jet. With the latter, if you keep it with the QB (in '13 there actually is a read guy who does indeed make a noticeable decision to take the QB or motioning guy, but it happens very quickly) you following the motion guy and sorta use him as a lead blocker like you did in the video.

With the inverted veer if you keep it with the QB you run right up the gut instead of around the end. Cam Newton probably ran this play 5,000 times when he was at Auburn. Also, during the mesh, the QB kinds hops along sideways with the HB as he decides whether to give or keep it.

Re: Post the new plays you find!

Here are some of the new plays in Oregon's PB.

As a spread option guy I gotta say that I'm in heaven right now! Oregon's playbook is ******* LOVELY!!! The amount of new stuff in there is crazy!
Shovel options
midline read options
counter read options
counter triple options
inverted veers
motion triple options
dart read options (with a pulling lineman as a lead blocker)
Y lead read options (with a back as a lead blocker)
trap read options
veer options

Oregon has a completely new formation (F Twins Over) with nothing but new plays in it. Just look at all of these plays that are in just this 1 formation!

Spoiler

EVERY single play in that formation has the WR (whom I assume would be DAT for Oregon and there's a package with him there) coming with the same automotion, yet there's 12 different plays that can happen when the ball is snapped!

That's the old Percy Harvin formation. Ohio St's playbook has it too.

Re: Post the new plays you find!

They've added so much to the spread/zone read this year, and it appears to be implemented well. I'm struggling to make the Inverted Veer read, but when I make it correctly it's a dangerous play.
