I doubt simming between weeks was fixed. It had nothing to do with the menus. It would sim fine the first 4-5 weeks. Then when all the teams started signing recruits it would take forever.

Yea the impression I'm getting is you don't recruit to your school's strength's anymore and pitch those things, and no more promises. Do players even still have higher/lower preferences to things such as playing time, proximity to home, contender, etc? Seems like recruiting has went from being very strategic to just deciding on how much time (points) you want to spend on a player and click the button.

all of those are still there. you just dont have hours now.

It is still strategic. It makes more sense this way. Players still have things they prefer, or look for in a school, and may flat out refuse your school if it does not have some of the qualities that they are looking for.
