Dynasty upsets still crazy?

I agree, but do you remember what a big deal that was? If you have this happening multiple times a season or even worse multiple times in a week, it becomes overkill. It's that 1 in a million chance that makes it exciting.

a FCS team beating a FBS team happens maybe 3 or 4 times a year.

The game should reflect that, not have so many upsets every week.

I remember back in the day when I used to play NCAA (way back in the summer of 2005) I used to manually sim each game individually to ensure there was a realistic number of upsets via loading & reloading the game. Part of the reason I did this was to ensure that the big schools would recruit better since recruiting was so heavily correlated to winning in those games.
