Is anyone else having this trouble? I got my game for 360 from GameStop. I come home and boot up my 360, first thing I do is hit the dashboard button and go over to redeem code.

I put my code in for Ultimate Team and it said it's not valid. I looked, and the 360 expects a 25-character code, but the one from GameStop is only 16 characters. Did GameStop mess up or is there a way to remedy this?

I'm trying to figure this out myself. I may go back up to Gamestop tomorrow and find out what happened.

There should be instructions on the receipt of how/where to redeem. If it isnt clear on the reciept, check GameStop.com/code to see if they have redemption instructions. Typically if the code is like that, it is redeemed on a website (which you would be directed to from the GameStop site I mentioned before), and you get the code that way and not through the system's redeem code method. The store I work at didn't have a midnight release, so I won't be able to see how the code shows up until morning.

Thats the thing....the instructions tell you to go to the redeem code in your dashboard. That asks for a 25 digit code. Gamestop only gave us a 16 digit code.

I just figured this out. You have to go into the game, go into Ultimate Team, then after you open your starter pack, go to Settings and Redeem Code. It works there.

Ah, that does make more sense. EA loves game specific codes.

Maybe try tomorrow sometime. I've had the same thing happen when getting midnight releases..
