I've seen this problem also. I cant quite put a finger on when and why it happens though. I'm playing on slow speed, All American, with Speed Threshold at 30, and it happens every now and again in some games and other games it doesn't. It never happens to me though, only the CPU gets the shaft!

This randomly happens to me as well.

I would take the hand off, see a big hole, then my running back would act like he was in quick sand in the defense would catch up and tackle me for a loss. It's really annoying.

Letting the CPU take the first few steps isn't an acceptable solution even if that works.

This shouldn't happen.

It should only occur if you're on slow or very slow. That's what I just tested. Had to make the same suggestion in the slider section.

Oh so it is a slow thing huh ? I was seeing the same thing on toss plays in play now, coach mode and dynasty games. For the USER you can recover from it sometimes, but when it happens to the CPU, they end being tackled for a loss.

Exactly. Yeah, our sliders were based on slow - until now I have to recommend normal. And I am not a normal speed player - but for quality game, I will be.

I noticed it on the demo and season ticket early release and I was playing at normal speed.

Could this possibly be from using the acceleration pre-snap or right after the ball is handing off?

It only happens on certain plays.

Something I've noticed is not so much runners getting bogged down but getting grabbed from behind. I'll run a off tackle to the right and get tackled by a d-end on the otherside of the play. Really frustrating.
