I should not be beating OU especially in my first year at Kansas.

I actually struggled early on and only beat the FCS west by 7 and rice by 3. But then when I only lost by 3 to #4 ranked TCU I thought maybe it was time to turn the difficulty up but I gave it one more game (OU) and this has only confirmed to me that AA isn't challenging enough.

I understand what your saying about its just one game upsets happen but I can just tell by playing that its set at the wrong difficulty.

The problem with that kind of thinking then is when anyone does something out of the ordinary, you'll want to tweak or adjust and you may end up constantly adjusting and tweaking. I would suggest playing an entire season on your settings. If you feel at the end of the season they don't balance out with the upsets/stats...then move up.

I remember a game on tv a few years ago where the QB had 5 INTs in the first half. Someone joked that the game on tv needed to have the sliders adjusted because 5 INTs by a QB in one half would "never happen." But it did happen and in real life. While what the poster said was funny, it is very true of the board. People would be providing knee-jerk reactions to the game. Your only a few games into your dynasty, the sample size is not that large. Give it a season and see how it really goes over the long haul.
