Is anyone getting pressure from the right side?

Apologies if this has been previously asked.

My main struggle (and gripe) is my inability to get pressure and sacks from the right side of my D-line and ROLB position. In the early release version of the game I could sprint up to a tackle, engage & try a move, and then hit sprint again to sometimes help me get around in time.

It could be all in my head, but in the final version I just can't get pressure from guys like Clowney or anyone lined up the spots mentioned above regardless of what I do.

We all know defenders on the left side of the line can get 2-3 sacks per series, but I want to know how I can make my 90+ rated ROLB in a 3-4 scheme or 93+ rated RE in a 4-3 scheme excel in the pass rush.

If anyone has any tips to help me (and others) replicate this very important aspect of football, please let me know.

Actually I have been able to and I play coach mode. I use Syracuse and my right defensive end is getting pressure and even a couple of sacks in the first 3 games so far.

I can buy that, because when I am on offense the CPU's RE's and ROLB's play a tad bit better, but it still doesn't help when you are manually controlling a player on D.

I found if you lower pass blocking it doesn't help too much and just causes the LE to turn into a Deacon Jones-ish were-beast with super human powers.

I'm noticing the same thing. I play with South Carolina mostly and its frustrating to not be able to apply much pressure with Clowney. Not that I expect to get back there 100% of the time but...

I hear ya.

And to be fair, it has been this way since NCAA/Madden appeared on next gen, but I am starting to see more and more each game that there will never really be a fair balance. To get the right side sacks, you may need to drop the pass blocking so low and coverage so high that the QB can't find anyone open and MAYBE just runs to the right side and he can get hit for a sack. Other than that I just can't utilize anyone from the right as far as pass rushing goes.

And maybe I just suck. That's why I want to know how others do it, especially because I'm a defense-oriented kind of guy.

I try controlling the DT's too, but that's pretty hit or miss.

Dang I thought I was the only one this was happening to! About 50% of the time it's an easy flick of the right stick to get off the block and put pressure on the QB with your LE, but my right DE's only get sacks when the QB scrambles towards that side or something.

I've had some luck shedding blocks and getting pressure with interior DTs however.
