Online Ranken --- Opponent Freezes Gameplay

Is there any way to counter someone who freezes the game when they are losing?

I just played a guy who I was beating the brakes off of. He was 11-3 online and I was beating him 42-16 in the 4th qtr.

He calls a timeout and pauses the game.

Now I can't do anything. It's just froze on the pause menu and I can't perform any action.

Is there any way to counter this garbage?

Haven't had this happen to me yet, I believe you cause it's been this way for other NCAA's but be sure it just wasn't bad luck and your game froze. Also check and make sure you got the loss, although different from my situation I got kicked off of XBOX live two days ago when it came out and was winning 28-3 but checked to see if I got the loss and I didn't. So maybe EA finally recongnized the problem and made it to if you are winning when these tihngs happen you dont get the loss.

So he just pressed pause and the game froze? I've never seen that happen. He/you didn't do anything else while it was paused?

I remember this glitch in past games. It seemed to occur more often when after they paused it and then you set yourself to ready right away. It didn't work if you didn't press anything after they paused it.

This has happened to me in past games a lot with online glitchers. Is there any way to counter this that you know of?

It's a DC glitch. I follow shopmaster on twitter and he exposed a guy for showing how to do it. Instead of the guy sending it straight to the devs, he posted it and shop was not to happy about it.
