Derek Smith. I have a soft spot for Tall QB's or fast QB's. Hes both.

Re: Best Recruit(s) You've Gotten so Far

First year with Texas I recruited a 6'5" 194 lb SS rated 82. 6 games into his true freshman season he has 35 tackles, 5 tfl, 4 assists, 2 sacks and one interception. I also recruited a 4 star athlete that plays receiver and is 6'4" 215 lbs and has 92 speed, 85 acc, 85 agility, but is only 75 overall. He doesn't play as much but in his first six games he has 25 catches for 259 yards and 2 Tds

Name: Waylon Woods
Position: G
Caliber: 2*
OVR: 70
ACC: 87
STR: 75
IMP BLK: 73
PASS BLK: 77
PASS BLK FOOT: 78
PASS BLK STR: 78
RUN BLK: 79
RUN BLK FOOT: 79
RUN BLK STR: 80

He is my best recruit because it is the first season of my dynasty with Old Dominion. He was a gem that I found early in the recruiting period and hammered him with points, a scholarship offer and the earliest possible visit to try to lock him up and luckily I did. Being an Air Raid team, I wish his pass block and run block numbers were switched, but either way he looks like he will excel on my line. I love the fact that he has great acceleration, allowing him to get out and pull on any designed runs. Could be an anchor on the line for us over the next four years.
