Is anybody else having this issue? Not sure if I got a bad disc or my hard drive is going bad (although no issues with other games like the show 13 & gta), but whenever I play NCAA 14 my ps3 makes kind of a loud vibrating/buzzing noise the entire time. I have an 80gb ps3 (not slim). Does this game just make the ps3 work extra hard or is something wrong on my end?

Bad disc. That's why I got the download version.

Thanks. Guess I'll take it back & exchange it for another copy. Downloading wasn't really an option as I had a $50 Target gift card that I used to buy it.

I had the same problem with multiple games. Could have something to due with the fact that I have it set up vertically. I just stuck a handcloth underneath it so when it vibrates it doesn't vibrate against the surface it's on. Result: no annoying buzz sound.

I think I had a similar problem but this was actually in the game audio. It was during a teambuilder dynasty game and I swear the crowd sounded like they had vuvuzelas.

Yeah my crowd always sounds like that... Idk whatsup but its annoying as hell!

LOL, are you sure it's not just the fans in the PS3 going into overdrive? It's pretty warm in my house in the summer so my PS3 tends to ramp up the case fans to 110%. It sounds more like a leaf blower than a lawnmower. If you hear a mechanical sound it's probably something wrong with the disc or the drive.

It's not a bad disc.

Have you taken your PS3 apart lately and cleaned it? That's one of the common causes of this issue. The fans are working extra hard because the dust is filling the pockets or the heat.

It can also be the fact that your system is old.

I have a 40GB, so it's roughly 6 years old. It does it for games that I have that it never did it before.
