I think we all know that EA has had money plays in every football game they have ever made. Being they are (unfortunately) the only game in town you have two options.

1. Stop playing and buying their product.

2. Find a fix. With this I can guide you to the slider forums where matt has created a fix for this problem.

Granted, you feel that we should not have to test and fix this game for EA and I agree with you. However, since we have no other options its a matter of wanting to play or not. You could hope for a patch that fixes the problem but if EA has shown us anything, its they fix one area with a patch and screw up several others.

Good Luck.

So you like intentionally taking the fun out of a game for yourself?

The game isn't "ruined" because of the way YOU choose to play - I personally enjoy it, and I'm pretty sure others do as well.

My advice default your sliders choose a team rated in the low 60s fill you schedule with teams in the 85-95 range then say goodbye to the money play and hello to the turf

I'm surprised at how many people are missing the point of this thread. It is a constructive criticism of the game.

Yes, it would be unrealistic and cheating for the user to run nothing but that play to win. I'm assuming the user ran these 9 straight plays not in an attempt to win, but in an attempt to see if that play really was that unrealistically successful. And he proved this to be true.

What his test did was identify two issues:
1. The HB Dive is too easy, even on the hardest difficulty
2. The AI seems unable to adapt to a user exploiting this

Now, I'll admit I don't even have this game. I'm reading the board trying to figure out whether or not I want to buy it. But I now know that if I do choose to buy this game, that I will have to remove the HB Dive from my playbook or else I'll be cheating. But it's silly to have to remove such a common and basic play from my playbook because of an issue with the game. Of course, I also come at this from an angle of not having messed around with the sliders to see if the problem can be fixed myself.

All this user did was test an already identified issue with the game, and show just how bad the issue actually is.
