Re: Interesting information about CPU offseason recruiting logic

I don't understand why a lot of guys don't sign anywhere? I was up big with a 5* spent 1,000 points on him in off season (his interest meter was in green and nearly full). But for whatever reason he didn't sign with anyone. There were 4-5 other guys who were at least 3* that I was leading for and they didn't choose either.

I'm going to pretend that the 5* went to play baseball instead and the others didn't have the grades. But that's me having to make up a reason, something is clearly wrong with the off season recruiting logic.

I would be very curious to do some testing of all the variables on this.

* How early are you offering a scholarship?
* How many other schools offer a scholarship?
* What is this player's AWR rating?
* How many points were you up by when he visited?
* What week did he hit 100% lock?

Sounds like you likely missed out on those guys by a mere 250 points or so.
If you were down by 1000 give them 4600.
If you were down 500, give them 4100
to be safe.

I thought the max a CPU will put on a recruit is 3250, unless they go all in?

Re: Interesting information about CPU offseason recruiting logic

this is a perfect post for what I was looking for and I appreciate it.

So here's the scenario...

in a battle with 1 school for a 4 star 76 rated RB. I'm behind 165 pts. The team ahead of me has already signed a 4 star RB that is ranked higher, but has worse ratings. (The recruit we are battling for was a gem.)

in a battle for a 4 star 74 rated DT. I'm third, behind the leader 315 pts. The second place team used a lock pick to get back in it the final week. The two teams leading me have already signed two 3-star recruits.

In a battle for a 3 star 68 rated DT, I'm leading the 2nd place team by 350 pts

Those three above are all "locked".

I also have a 3 star 73 rated HB that I lead the 2nd place team by 2500 pts. He's at 82% locked. I'm not listed as being in a battle with anyone for this recruit.

Those are the only four players I'm interested in spending any of my 10,000 pts on. I'm wondering how you'd divide them up.

I already signed a 70 rated DT in this class, so I'm not too worried about the 68 rated DT.

The better RB I'm battling for is a 95 spd, 96 acc RB with good ELU and BCV. The 73 rated one is 93 spd, 85 acc with poorer ELU and BCV, but slightly better strength and trucking.

How would you divide the 10,000 pts?
