So I just wanted to ask if any one can help me with figuring out which teams from new York are the most popular. I want to be able to use and root for a home town college team.

Syracuse, Buffalo, and Army are all in New York. Syracuse is the more popular team I would say. You could also use teambuilder to make your own team!

Yea those were actually 2 teams I was looking at lol and Rutgers too

Your most successful option would be Rutger's and they happen to play in a pro style offense and that is an easy way to learn the game. You've got a lot of teams in the surrounding area that are good choices too.

According to numbers from 2011 Rutgers had 20% of the NY TV market versus 4.6% for Syracuse and 2.6% for Army
