Does difficulty level matter on coach mode?

I also play mlb the show and the developers have said difficulty level doesn't matter on manage only mode because the game becomes cpu vs cpu.

So, on coach mode does difficulty level matter? If so, what is the best level to attain even gameplay, no advantage to user or cpu team?

How about auto pass instead of coach mode? Would the same optimum difficulty level for coach mode also apply to auto pass?

Thanks.

It matters on both.In my opinion if you don't use sliders All-American would be the closest to even.

I sure wish the Devs would throw us a bone and make it known what the best difficulty was with regard to players playing like they're rated. From there, if it's too easy then just bump it up.
