New OC's and DC's

i'm confused. whats the point of getting a new OC and DC? My other coaches moved on. Does my team automatically run that new offensive and defensive schemes? Do they not advance if i don't?

Your style is what your playbook will be no matter the coordinator. They will still progress even if their playbook does not match yours.

Playing an online dynasty...user 1 lost both OC and DC who were replaced by level 6 an level 8 coordinators respectively. When he reset the coaching skill tree, he got the respective points to upgrade his OC and DC. User 2 (me) lost both coordinators as well. My new DC is level 16. My new OC is level 31. Yet, when I reset my skill tree, I didn't get any upgrade points for my coordinators, not to mention, they are both 3-5000 points away from their next level up. Can someone explain this to me? Thx.
