BCS National Championship. 13-0 LSU vs 11-1 Alabama. Bama didn't play in the SEC championship game. Had already lost to LSU. Oklahoma St had the exact same record. Its loss came to Iowa St. Which was bad i get that. But for what ever its worth. It was less than 24 hours after the coach of the womens basketball team had died in a plane crash. You can decide if that had an effect on the football team. In my opinion and plenty of other OK ST deserved that BCS title game over Bama.

2007 My personal Favorite

We start 2 weeks before the bowl games are announced. #2 Missouri vs #1 Kansas. KU was 11-0. Mizzou was 10-1 with its only loss to Oklahoma. A team KU didnt have to play. It was a great game. Best i have ever seen. Mizzou wins and goes to 11-1. KU falls to 11-1. Next week Mizzou has to play Oklahoma again in the Big 12 Championship. Again we lose . Final BCS ranking come out with 11-2 Mizzou ranked #6 and 11-1 KU ranked #8. Then its time for the Bowl teams to be announced. KU receives a bid to play the the Orange Bowl while Mizzou has to settle for the Cotton Bowl. Why in the **** does KU get a BCS game over team it lost to only 2 weeks earlier? KU didnt have to play Oklahoma. We played them twice. But the sports gods made up for it. 2 conference wins the last 4 years

It could happen. A higher-ranked team that doesn't have to put its neck on the line in a championship game squeaks in.

I would be relieved, actually. I'm not sure what season you're in - I'm assuming 2013 or 2014 - but I wouldn't feel right playing in the national championship game with Minnesota right off the bat in a dynasty. THAT seems unrealistic. I would restart any dynasty in which I got THAT good THAT soon with THAT bad a team.

I used Minnesota last year in an abbreviated dynasty and went 7-6, losing a bowl game. That felt right to me, maybe even a little too good for Minnesota, but I won enough to keep from breaking a controller.
