When does HFA "kick in?" When I'm playing at home, do I have to do anything to kick it in? Or does it automatically happen on say, 3rd and long when I'm on defense?

I have been playing with it on and I must say my margin of victory has been greater on the road. Hmmm...

Maybe you have the 'Road Warrior' coach skill maxed out. Makes HFA pretty much nonexistent.

Nope. Haven't invested a single point in it. Not saying there is anything to this: could just be coincidence. Two games I distinctly remember to open my season:

Navy (me, at home) 24, Illinois 21
Navy (me, on the road) 38, Indiana 7

My next 2 games followed a very similar pattern: close at home, blowout on the road. Now that's a very small sample size, so I am not claiming it proves one darn thing. Just reporting my results.

Intriguing

While I have not personally noticed anything, I could have just glossed over certain aspects/warning signs due to the fact that I was Army and I expected every game to be close/a loss

Nothing from EA, coding wise, surprises me at this point. I definitely would not be shocked if it turned out something was whacky here

I will say there are a ton of close games but like you Jared I chalked it up to being Georgia State. I've a triple OT and two double OT games already along with several games won or lost by 10 points or less.

Personally, I like the idea of having it on for USER road games and turning it off for USER home games...

Gives the CPU "a little help" in a roundabout / subtle way...
