Whut?

That entire post was basically "Please help us figure out which sliders do what and which are broken. Gamechangers? Devs? Where did everyone go?"

That's what that was.

No offense Matt .
It was one of his points was it not? Never did I dispute the rest of his post. Frankly I've never really seen the benefit of GC's nor do I pay much attention to them, but to point out they should be gathering patch information makes no sense, as the devs themselves are rarely able to even comment on their existence or possible release date for obvious reasons.

They do reach out, just not on OS anymore because of past events.

Given the vitriol they and devs face from the general population here, don't really blame them.

I don't know. Had EA not done such a poor job with the current-gen series, I think the forum would be far more cordial. Posters can only stay patient for so long when they see glaring issues with the game, year after year.

There is no excuse, no justification you can make for some of the behavior that has gone on in the NCAA/Madden forums here. None.

Bad games do not justify the complete abandonment of decorum.

It went far past game criticism and got personal and ugly.

I guess I haven't visited this site enough in the past to see it get personal and ugly. Some of the criticisms I've read recently are a bit too harsh and over the top, but many are pretty basic and legitimate.

I'd generally agree that vitriolic personal attacks on game developers are inexcusable. On the other hand, so are the bugs and broken features which have generally ruined this series on current-gen consoles.

Re: Where are all the Gamechangers at?

This forum has had problems with EA trolls and agenda posters since before exclusivity , before current gen, and before the flood.

This forum has also had problems with MLB the Show trolls and agenda posters since before exclusivity , before current gen, and before the flood.

This forum has also had problems with NBA live trolls and agenda posters since before exclusivity , before current gen, and before the flood.

This forum has also had problems with Dallas Cowboy trolls and agenda posters since before exclusivity , before current gen, and before the flood.

It turns out that it is a forum on the internet. We can't fix everything. And actually (just speaking for myself not the site), I get told all the time "you allow to many people to go off bashing EA." I also get told simultaenously, "you guys don't allow anyone to criticize EA."

So ...
