I was waiting on a buddy to finish his game so I could advance. I decided to jump into the practice session while I waited. I chose Heisman difficulties and fired it up. My defense was insane. They covered everything. I was able to make good throws, but there was very good pass coverage. Nobody ran 10yds past the receiver as he made his break. Has anybody else noticed this?

Yes. I have noticed this as well. I noticed this as well in last years game. Im not sure if its just a lack of any HFA effect, but, practice mode in dynasty plays differently than the games. The sliders seem more effective

I didn't know if it was just my imagination or not. Seemed to be defense as it should be. The CBs reacted to routes and the Dline got pressure from the ends and the DTs on diff. plays. Everything just felt tight. Guys were jumping routes and playing the ball. It was nice to see defense.
