Do You Play Man To Man Or Zone On Pass Coverage...?

Do you play man to man or prefer to play zone on pass coverage...? Just wondering? I play man to man like 99% of the time cause every time I play zone it never stops the offense..

With the low awareness that my DB's have (Fresno St) I have switched to playing a majority cover 3 zone. My corners would continuously get torched when I would play man.

I've had good luck with man to man, aside from the rare burn. Zone seems too finicky, especially when most QB's go 15-16/17 against me accuracy wise.

I play mostly cover 2 man, cover 3, and cover 4. With pass commit I see good results, realistic reactions.

I mix it up with a blitz thrown in to keep teams guessing. Not gonna lie, I still get torched in the passing game. I view replays and my CBs and LBs just allow the receivers or tight ends to get open and only after the pass is completed they react, but it's to late.

Any help would be great, players in my online dynasty don't seem to notice or care or no how to contain the pass better.

Most games against users I play are something like 49-42 and who ever gets there opponent to punt first, fumble, or throw an INT wins.

I play a lot of Zone because most of the time I get burned while playing man to man

I mix it up just like they do in real life. If you run the same coverage scheme over and over the CPU seems to pick up on it.

Re: Do You Play Man To Man Or Zone On Pass Coverage...?

I mix it up a lot. I like to blitz on first down a fair amount. I like to zone blitz option teams. I run cover 2 man from nickel/dime when teams go 4/5 wide for the most part. Contrary to real life, I run a lot of zone in the red zone. Because of the lack of space it's very effective. Zones can get tricky with a lot of space. Like real football I y hard to get the offense behind the chains early so I can use the pass commit feature. Defense is crappy this year. I typically have a dominant defense on heisman but not this year.
