Offline Dynasty to Online Dynasty?

Yesterday, i took one of my OD dynasty saves, and re-uploaded it. I had originally accidentally advanced past my game week and had a game simmed for me, and was not a fan.

I retired from my OD, then did the upload, I had to replay my previous game, all my stories from past weeks were gone, and all the sim stats that had taken place previously, we now different. aka, teams had different records, etc....

Anyhow, got me thinking, since i generally don't play my OD on the weekends, could i fire up an offline dynasty, and then based on how things are going, at a later time, take that file, and convert it to an OD?

I prefer the OD, so i can study, recruit, etc, when i'm away from my console.
