I figure those 5 different schools worth of recruits(Hawaii really has only 1 year of players worth it) I will have the perfect number of players for madden. I even kept the best players stats, as well as saved the dynasty at a point where if I want, I can go back and play as that player.
so Im hoping the freaking import is good this year. I got attached to so many players who made so many big plays. this happened 2 years ago, only to watch 90 percent of them gone over not really paying attention to the "2" export screens.
Yes the exporting of players is a big thing for me too. I was frustrated with the number of issues with importing players to Madden a few years ago and then just downright disappointed that they removed the capability last year.
Re: How are you currently spending your time with NCAA '14?
My online dynasty with friends is in hiatus until September (people are on vacation until then). So we're at the conclusion of season 2, and just waiting to hit the button to start season 3.
I don't play RTG or Ultimate team. I have 2 offline dynasties that I do, but have focused more on my multi team dynasty.
I have an 8 team dynasty going, sort of like a mini playoff system I created. As expected the powerhouse teams are slaughtering the lower level teams in recruiting right now, so it's a matter of seeing how will come out on top.
(And for those curious, when my teams play each other, I let the CPU sim the games for me to be fair).

I have been having a real blast doing a write up after each of my games and telling people about my dynasty. Its great to share stories and see people getting enjoyment out of it, and its fun to look back on and remember. I don't have my own dynasty thread but have been regularly posting on the 'hows your dynasty going' thread. I encourage everyone to check it out! Lots of great writers and storytellers on this board!
Here is my most recent one
Spoiler
Wyoming Dynasty Year 7
With 3 minutes to go in the 4th quarter Navy scored a touchdown to give them a 27-24 lead. The crowd was stunned. The players rattled. Would Wyoming's 7 year home win streak come to an end? Wyoming's coach called for the offense to huddle around him on the sideline. You could see the sweat dripping from freshman QB Jamaal Williams' face. Coach K cleared his throat. It was time for a pump up speech.
"We have been undefeated here for 7 years men.. 7 amazing years. This streak will not last forever, everyone knows that. There will come a time when the streak ends.. there will come a day when faithful Wyoming fans have to leave the stadium in bitter disappointment... BUT IT IS NOT THIS DAY! WE ARE STRONGER THEN THEM. WE ARE BETTER PREPARED THEN THEM. WE HAVE WORKED HARDER THEN THEM. WE WILL DEFEAT THEM. WE WILL FIGHT! WE WILL FIGHT! TO THE LAST QUARTER, TO THE LAST MINUTE, TO THE LAST DRIVE.. WE FIGHT! WE FIGHT! WE FIGHT!"
The players became jumping and shouting.. they were ready to go out there and win. For the fans. For Coach K. For Laramie.
With all the fans on their feet, QB #19 Jamaal 'J-Will' Williams lead the Cowboys on a 2 minute scoring drive to put them on top, and senior CB #30 Jon Smith made a game clinching interception with 30 seconds to go to the roar of 30 thousand fans. Like something out of a movie.
The #11 ranked Midshipmen gave #1 Wyoming quite a scare. Their option offense was nearly unstoppable, and they could have won if it weren't for 3 costly fumbles, 1 of which was returned for a touchdown by DT #91 Alan Hill. Besides HB #37 Andy Bell and WR #10 Leon Robbins, Wyoming struggled on offense. Bell had 127 yards and 1 TD, Robbins caught 5 passes for 121 yards and 1 TD. QB Jamaal Williams was just 7/14 for 173 yards 1 TD and 2 INTs.
Navy rushed for nearly 200 yards on the ground, and passed for 150. Senior QB Joe Muse fumbled twice, including a costly fumble return touchdown in the 3rd quarter when the game was tied. The game could have played out much differently had that not happened.
After the win and a bye week, Wyoming fell to #2 in the polls with an undefeated record of (11-0), as they got jumped by (11-0) Auburn after a dominating win vs top 10 Georgia. Navy fell to (8-2) and is now ranked #13 on what has still been a great season for the Midshipmen.
Next week the Cowboys will be facing off in their annual neutral site rivalry game vs Boise State, who is having their first winning season since joining the BIG12, currently ranked #8 with a (9-2) record. The game will be held at Mile High Stadium in Denver, where the Cowboys are undefeated vs the Broncos in 3 meetings.
HB Andy Bell broke the Wyoming record for rushing touchdowns in a season by scoring his 20th, breaking the record formerly held by Wyoming Hall-of-Famer Lenny Suggs. After the bye week, he has dropped to 4th in the Heisman Race. North Carolina's HB Akeem Burns has broken onto the scene and moved into 2nd after running 76 times for 530 yards and 5 TDs in his last 2 games. Nevada's QB David Johnson remains 1st.
Should be a big shakeup in the rankings this week, as #1 Auburn faces #3 Alabama, and #2 Wyoming faces #8 Boise State.

Editing my roster with the global editors trying to get everything in order to coincide with opening night...which at that point the editing will be done and my 124 team dynasty will begin.
