116 Team MEGA Tournament

I'm not sure anyone has done anything like this before but I went and printed off a 126 team seeded tournament and looked at the preseason rankings on the game to seed the teams.

I will be simming these computer v. computer
8 minute quarters
Heisman Offense and Defense (not sure if that does anything on sim)

With 126 teams the top 2 ended up with 1st round byes.

8 brackets (based on top 8 seeds)
Quarters are bracket 1 v. 8, 2 v. 7, 3 v. 6, 4 v. 5
Semis are brackets 1v8/4v5 winners and 2v7/3v6 winners

Bracket 1:
1 seed: Alabama (first round bye)
16 seed: Oklahoma State

Bracket 2:
2 seed: Ohio State (first round bye)
15 seed: Texas

Bracket 3:
3 seed: Stanford
14 seed: Florida State

13 seed: Oklahoma

Bracket 5:
5 seed: Georgia
12 seed: LSU

Bracket 6:
6 seed: Oregon
11 seed: Louisville

7 seed: Notre Dame
10 seed: Florida

8 seed: South Carolina
9 seed: Clemson

I will put up results and anything interesting that happened in 1st round matchups.

First couple of matches:
First match: #64 Air Force hosted #65 Air Force in a rare first round conference matchup. SD State dominated from the start and won 38-3.

SD will travel to Alabama in round 2

Second match: #32 Baylor hosted #97 Toledo
What will be one of the BIGGEST upsets of the tournament Toledo dominated this game.
Turning point: With the score tied 7-7 in the first quarter Toledo held Baylor to a FG then scored a TD of their own. They stopped Baylor again with 1 minute to go in the 1st and scored a TD with 23 seconds to go. They then scored 21 unanswered to end the half. Baylor tried to make a comeback in the 3rd down 52-16 they scored 20 unanswered form the end of the 3rd to mid 4th quarter but it was too little too late.

Toledo will travel to the Wisconsin/Wyoming winner in round 2

Just put the game on while I am sitting around at night not playing.

Hopefully I actually get the entire thing done.

I'll probably not play alot after work and coaching at night so will just put the games on while I eat and do school work at home.

Will play my dynasties on weekends.

Its ALL 116 teams in one VERY large tournament. Once coaching school starts next week and the kids come back and I start coaching I wont be able to sim as many games a night so I am going to try and get as many done as possible before Monday and still leave myself plenty of playing time.

There are 52 first round matches. 32 in the 2nd round, 16, 8, 4, 2, 1.

If the Toledo upset is any indication this could get very interesting.

There's more than 116 teams. 125 to be exact.
