How do you make kicking realistic?

Kicking is extremely easy in this game. I'm on heisman with the accuracy slider to zero and my player's accuracy attribute at 45 and I still make all my kicks. Which brings me to another question. What is with the kicking sliders? They do absolutely nothing. The only thing that slightly works is setting your attribute to 44 and awareness to 99. But then you have to hit it PERFECT! But with that I'm only about 60% and that's only below 40 yds. But if I set the attribute to 45, I make them all. It's very weird.

Try kick power at 35 and accuracy at 40. If you're struggling to make 45 yard field goals, then look at your kickers kick power, and if it's like 89 or something, then you're good. Adjust them accordingly obviously.

Really? User kicking sliders work for you? They don't work for me. Whether I have them at 0 or 100, the results are the same. I'm using ncaa 14 on 360. Has there been an update recently that would have fixed it?

I aim the direction then close my eyes when I make the kick

Don't aim the arrow, but instead use the slice/pull. So, you're aiming straight, obviously, and if you're on the right hash, try to pull it to the left accordingly. Flip side, slice it to the right. Further back, less slice/pull. Closer you are, more slice pull.

Makes it difficult.

Here is what you do to making kicking more realistic.

If your Kicker is rated 75 edit him and make his kick power 75 and kick accuracy 75. Then for the KICKING slider make it the difference. 25.

See what happens.

I always do suoersim, watch next play when I'm kicking or punting. This makes it more important to sign better kickers and punters. I use the computers slider settings for special teams.
