Downloading the Dynasty file to PC or Mac

Here's an interesting question. Hopefully someone has an answer.

Back in pre-NCAA 13 game versions, when recruit ratings were still somewhat of a mystery, there was a program where you could download the dynasty file to a USB and run it through a program which would churn out a spreadsheet with all the recruit ratings on it.

My question is, does anybody know what information is stored on that dynasty file? Would any active player information be embedded within the program data and how could it theoretically be extracted?

Thanks for the link. It could possibly be what I am looking for. But, just in case it is not, let me clarify my intentions as I should have in the original post.

What I'm looking for is a way to interface roster files from the Xbox or ps3 onto a PC and have certain information (player attributes, other specific player info) imported into a PDF.

I know this could all be manually entered, like through TeamBuilder, but I'm trying to make the process not so cumbersome.
