No coach exp work around?

So the issue with users in OD not getting coach exp. I tried to go into dynasty settings and change the coach level but it didn't save. Can you not change the starting coach level? You can change everything else like speed threshold. I was hoping a user in my OD could retire and rejoin with a new coach level.

You can only change coach points in the main menu under edit coach to my knowledge

I'm talking about the online dynasty house rules -> Set Coach Starting Level. I can change it but when I save, it goes back to default. If the change would stick, I could modify it and let a user retire and the rejoin at that new level.
