College football is all about rivalries. I think EA should put a rivalry "meter" in the game similar to nascar 2004's friends/enemies meter. Say your playing as Maryland against a neutral opponent like CAL and the game is down to the wire with Maryland wining in double overtime. Cal goes from a neutral opponent to a semi rival the next game. If some more games against CAL happen like that youve got a full blown college rival you created. Who knows maybe you could create your rivarly game trophy that the two teams compete for. It of course could be more complicated than just a close game. If you are an okay team and you knockoff a good team thats looking to get into a bowl game at the end of the season that couold also contrivute to a rivalry. Same with injuring a teams star player or setting a single game record against them.

that's a great idea.Althought it would probably take at least 3 games to go from neutral to semi rivalry.

I guess it would be a little hard to implement, but I would really love this idea if EA at least tried it.

Yeah i agree thats a great idea but i doubt EA would implement it.
