Override Base Layers

Is there a way to override base layers with long sleeves? I swear I've edited players to have long sleeves, but it defaults to the base layer anyway. I can choose for a player to have no sleeves, but long sleeves doesn't appear to work.

Any ideas?

You have to change the jersey in the uniform select screen just before your game starts. Afterwards, your edits will show in game.

Re: Override Base Layers

I was playing as Cincinnati in Dynasty Mode. For the first game I chose their 2013 uniforms, the white version (as they did a whiteout in their first game against Purdue). So I did change the uniform, from the black one to the white one.

Re: Override Base Layers

Yea, make sure you change the jersey to one that doesn't have the base layers shown with it. If you can see the base layers on the player model before the game, the base layer will override any edits you've made.

There's also a glitch in the actual edit player section with certain teams that have a permanent base layer that APPEARS not to switch after your edits but in game your edits will be there.

Re: Override Base Layers

Yeah but the point is you can't override base layers, guys. Ohio State has an ugly black shirt as our base layer for our home jersey in game, and you can't get that off while wearing the home jersey. AND WE DON'T EVEN WEAR THAT BASE LAYER

I'm going to check it out. I'm pretty sure you can get the base layer off.

Yea, you cant use that scarlet jersey. If you want to use a scarlet jersey, you have to use the nike pro combat 10 or 11, the base layers aren't attached to those.

Re: Override Base Layers

Go in and edit the players to wear no sleeves so that Ohio State's red home jersey's won't use the base layer.
