Yet my profile is still intact...what the hell is going on?

greatest games might be stored in the settings... not sure. I know records and such are in the settings. This way multiple users can share the settings file and break each others records and such.

S$#%!!! I was putsing around with the x-port(using it as a dex-drive) and erased the settings thinking I had the sliders on my dynasty anyways.

Yep, they're stored in the settings.
